Beginners yoga classes – ongoing
Mondays 19:30 – 20:45 with Al, £15 per class (£144 for 12 weeks)
Tuesdays 19:30 – 20:30 with Lucy, £12.50 per class (£120 for 12 weeks)
These classes are suitable for beginners, those new to Iyengar yoga, those returning after a long gap and anyone who wants to consolidate their practice at this level.
Basic asanas are introduced, instructions are given and the poses are demonstrated. The main focus is on standing poses, to increase mobility, strength, flexibility and overall health. If you attend these classes regularly, you will begin to feel better – sleep better, easier digestion, a calmer mind and more energy. Each class ends with relaxation and you leave the class feeling lighter, calmer and restored. Many people continue at this level for many years as it helps them feel well and cope with life!
We provide all the equipment, including mats, in our lovely, purpose built studio. You just need to decide to come along wearing something stretchy (shorts or leggings) and ready to work in bare feet.

You are welcome to drop in by the class but our term passes offer a discounted rate and help you commit to regular attendance. Missed classes can be made up within the term block – we have suitable classes for this on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday each week.
