DESCRIPTION:Jillian Lee Adamson (b. 1977\, Minneapolis\, Minnesota\, USA) i
 s an \ninterdisciplinary artist based in East Lothian\, Scotland. Drawing 
 on lived \nexperience shaped by neurodivergence\, Mad-identity\, and housi
 ng \ninsecurity\, her practice is informed by resilience\, recovery\, and 
 self-determined forms of care. \nShe studied Media Arts at the Perpich Cen
 ter for Arts Education and \nundertook early college-level study at the Mi
 nneapolis College of Art and \nDesign\, later earning a First-Class BA (Ho
 ns) in Painting from Edinburgh \nCollege of Art in 2024. Her practice cent
 res on slow stitching\, \nforming Metaphorical Cells that explore resilien
 ce\, repair\, fragility\, and \nstrength through repetition\, tension\, an
 d care. \n\nAlicja Klawinowska's practice explores perception through intu
 itive \ndrawing. Her process\, which cycles between observation\, gesture\
 , and \nopen-ended resolution\, examines how meaning emerges from chance. 
 \nThis is the focus of her Pareidolia series\, where viewers collaborate w
 ith \nambiguous forms. Her urban sketchbooks extend this inquiry. Swift li
 neand-wash drawings capture fleeting public gestures and micronarratives
  as acts of attunement. Parallel work in storyboarding hones \nher sensiti
 vity to movement and the decisive moment. Together\, her \nworks form a vi
 sual diary where each mark is a trace of attention and a \nquiet provocati
 on to look again\nTheir exhibition\, 'Memory' will open at St Margaret's H
 ouse on the 7th of March\, closing on the 14th of March. their preview nig
