Artist’s Statement

My work begins with observation: a detail, a shape or a chance encounter that invites a second look. Through photography, animation and video, I explore how familiar things can become strange, ambiguous or unexpectedly expressive. I bring images into conversation with sound created through modular synthesis, sampling and analogue instruments. Repetition, layering and juxtaposition allow me to build spaces for the viewer to look and listen without a fixed narrative. I also use AI tools as one of several ways to experiment with moving images.

My fascination with Mythology and Mystery, I like to mix the ancient with the modern. Translating and knitting these themes together, highlighting a stylish graphic flavour.
