We’re delighted to welcome Elaine A Brown to St Margaret’s House as an artist in residence throughout September 2026.
“Revisiting the extracted landscapes I first made drawings from in 1987, this residency marks transitions: New materials and an evolved approach.
Researching East Lothian, the old industries, harbours and reclaimed Musselburgh ash lagoons by bus, bike, and foot.
Thank you St Margaret’s House for a space to research, experiment freely, make a mess and recharge.”
